Trying to put together Dave's Grill

love putting things together, I'm not very typical girl. I love screwdrivers  and complicated pieces that normal people hates! Is very therapeutic to me to put things together.
Today I decided to assemble Dave's grill that he got for his BD.
Well I started getting things out of the box; Matt and Macie had this look on their faces like if it was Christmas. Maybe more like if they were starving to death and I have a big hamburger in from of there faces! yea those kids were excited.Do you know how do they pack those things? with the white foam. that  is so fun to break off and is so static-ky that sticks to everything around you.

While I was in the other world putting together the masterpiece. Matt and Macie had a blast YES a BLAST playing with the cardboard boxes and the static foam. when I realized it was way to late it was already on the roof and I had my door close! naah just kidding but it was everywhere :( It took me a long time with the vacuum to get it all off. Well most of it. I can still see little pieces laying around
Finally I got done! it looks great! I can't wait till the weather is nice and we can grill some good stuff on it!

David's Birthday (May 11th)

Tuesday was Dave's Birthday. To start the Day Matthew and Myself  made pancakes, we put lots of sprinkles and of curse a candle to blow! Matt was so excited that it was Daddy's BD. We made a sign with my cricut and Matthew help too ( Man I am turning this little boy into a handy crafty piece of cookie little boy) Any way. Grandma and Granddad Took us to eat dinner a Johnny Corino's SO SO GOOD! By the way our kids were in there best behavior ever I don't think they are even that good when we have dinner at home .
After we came home to eat cake and open some presents. This year I thought with the help of Mom and Dad to buy Dave a brandnew Gas Grill! yay Dave is so excited!

5 de Mayo

For any of you that don't really know what 5 de Mayo is and think that is Mexico's Independence Day; here is the real thing. Enjoy.

Cinco de Mayo has its roots in the French Occupation of Mexico. The French occupation took place in the aftermath of the Mexican-American War of 1846-48, the Mexican Civil War of 1858, and the 1860 Reform Wars. These wars left the Mexican Treasury in ruin and nearly bankrupt. On July 17, 1861, Mexican President Benito Juárez issued a moratorium in which all foreign debt payments would be suspended for two years, with the promise that after this period, payments would resume.
In response, France, Britain, and Spain sent naval forces to Veracruz to demand reimbursement. Britain and Spain negotiated with Mexico and withdrew, but France, at the time ruled by Napoleon III, decided to use the opportunity to establish an empire on Mexican territory. Late in 1861, a well-armed French fleet stormed Veracruz, landing a large French force and driving President Juárez and his government into retreat.
Moving on from Veracruz towards Mexico City, the French army encountered heavy resistance from the Mexicans near Puebla, at the Mexican forts of Loreto and Guadalupe. The 8,000-strong French army attacked the much poorer equipped Mexican army of 4,000. Yet the Mexicans managed to decisively crush the French army, the best army at the time, and one that had not been defeated for almost 50 years.
The victory represented a significant morale boost to the Mexican army and the Mexican people at large. "It was a glorious moment for Mexico." It helped establish a much-needed sense of national unity and patriotism. The Mexican victory, however, was short-lived. Thirty thousand troops and a full year later, the French were able to depose the Mexican army, captured Mexico City, and established Emperor Maximilian I as ruler of Mexico. However, the French victory was also short-lived, lasting only 3 years, from 1864 to 1867. With the U.S. Civil War over in 1865, the U.S. started to provide more assistance to Mexico to expel the French, after which Maximilian was executed by the Mexicans, along with his Mexican generals Miramón and Mejía, in the Cerro de las Campanas, Queretaro.

Some historians have argued that France's real goal was to help break up the American Union (In other words Mexican soldiers save American soldiers bummer).
In the United States Cinco de Mayo has taken on a significance beyond that in Mexico.
The date is perhaps best recognized in the United States as a date to celebrate the culture and experiences of Americans of Mexican ancestry,.

Ca not make rolls!

have try and try and I am not getting better! I'm getting worse :(
Last night I made Pam's stew and was delicious, I thought to myself; I have different oven, I got new flour and new yest. I'm sure i can do this. well My rolls never rise and I cooked then anyway. Maybe they'll rise when they are getting cooked. Well they came out looking the same, not even a millimeter big and they didn't eve look  golden after I double the time to cooked them!
But to let you all know I AM NOT GIVEN UP! I am going to keep trying TILL THOSE Suckers are fluffy and golden...

Messy Macie

Ok I have to say that I am not blaming it on the baby, but she is still a little stinker!
So I was working today from home and I thought I will eat some chicken nuggets at the same time too then  found one of those little packets of the Polynesian sauce from Chick fil-A( I love that on chicken nuggets) Well when I was done I put my plate on the floor by the wall next to me. And I will never ever do that again.

And guess what?
She loves it too !

Very tired Daddy

I been sitting here by the computer for the last hour and Daddy "it's been watching TV" he looks so cute and peaceful when he "watches TV" that I don't mind at all the snoring that he usually does"when he watches TV"

Our CUTE kids!

Today at church our kids where so cute.. Well Matt was such a stud and a good boy!
He loves going to nursery so much that today when daddy picked him up with an expression on his face said " Daddy I love this Church"
And Macie was so tired that she gave us an attitude the whole time (luckily she is cute and we can't really get mat at her).
Anyway we came home and took pictures of them.

Little Macie

Macie and her baby powder bath!

We love the POTTY!

I'm so happy that Matthew so far has done great with  the potty! he is such a big boy !

Fell down the stairs

Yesterday I was going down the stair and I fell down  (not big deal) but it I was holding Macie BIG DEAL!

Luckily I managed to hold her up while I fell. She didn't get hurt a all. And myself no broken bones just a couple of bruises and sore muscles!

Matthew's First Prayer

Last before bed like usual we kneel down to Pray. Dave and I usually ask each other whose turn is it to say the Prayer. Well last night  Matt said "may turn" and I said Mommy will help and he said  " no Matthew do it all alone" and so he did! And that was the most beautiful Prayer ever. He did remember to be gratefull for going with Daddy on a bike ride and playing with his new friend.
